Video:The Medina mosque in Saudi Arabia Bombed

In what will pass as the bloodiest week of international terror campaign within Muslim states. Terrorist attacks caused mass casualties in three predominantly Muslim countries of Turkey, Bangladesh and Iraq. Suspected suicide bombers with  links to the Islamic State struck for the fourth time in less than a week targeting three locations in Saudi Arabia  on Monday  in an extension of what appeared to be a coordinated campaign of worldwide bombings coinciding with the Muslim holy month of Ramadan.
The first took place near the Prophet’s Mosque in the holy city of Medina, followed by another suicide bomber that struck near the United States Consulate in the coastal city of Jidda in the morning, wounding two security officers. Near dusk, when Muslims were ending their daily Ramadan fasts, other blasts struck near a Shiite mosque in the country’s east and at a security post in Medina, killing four guards, according to the Saudi-owned Al Arabiya television network ,raising the specter of increasingly coordinated attacks by militants seeking to destabilize the monarchy.
Although Islamic State extremists have attacked the kingdom repeatedly in recent years, mostly targeting the Shiite minority and state security personnel no one immediately claimed responsibility for the Saudi bombings. The attacks occurred amid fears that extremists had planned further violence during the Muslim holy month of Ramadan and for the holiday that celebrates its conclusion this week, Eid al-Fitr.

Prior reports suggest a relatively few casualties in the attacks at a U.S. consulate, a mosque frequented by Shiite worshipers and a security center in one of Islam’s holiest sites, the historic city of Medina. The Saudi Interior Ministry told the state-run television station that four security guards died in the Medina attack and five were injured.
These attacks however, do offer evidence that in the two years since it declared the existence of its so-called caliphate, the Islamic State has developed the capacity to strike at will in diverse locations around the world.
At least 290 people have been killed in attacks claimed by or linked to the Islamic State with a vast majority of them 222 people killed in the Baghdad blast that targeted a shopping street packed with people celebrating the end of the day’s fast and shopping for the approaching holiday others are at Istanbul Ataturk Airport, at a restaurant frequented by foreigners in the Bangladeshi capital Dhaka ,making  this the most blood-soaked Ramadan yet in the Islamic State’s campaign.
In a statement released later, the United States Embassy in Riyadh said none of its consular staff members in Jidda had been wounded, and it warned American citizens to limit nonessential travel to the kingdom and to remain cautious inside it
In neighboring Kuwait, officials announced the arrest of four people accused of plotting two attacks in the country one of them a young Kuwaiti man who had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State was planning to bomb a mosque during Eid al-Fitr.  The man said after his arrest that he had received instructions from an Islamic State operative abroad according to the state-run KUNA news agency.

Sunnis and Shiites have lived together with few sectarian tensions for years in Sunni predominantly Kuwait.
