£40 million-rated Star Is Arsenal's last chance to sign a top player

Arsenal’s sticky situation was made worse earlier this week when Riyad Mahrez signed a new deal at Leicester City, snubbing a move to the Emirates Stadium in the process. With Ten days remaining for the transfer window to close and with a total expenditure of a mere £34 million on new players compared to other top English clubs.

However, recent reports indicate that Arsenal is lining up a move for £40 million-rated winger Yacine Brahimi, who plays for Porto but reportedly wants to leave the club.
The skilful 26-year-old Algerian ace was left out of his side's Champions League qualifier in midweek and if the price is right will be sold this summer.
Liverpool and Chelsea previously considered moves of their own for the Algerian, who wants to leave Porto.

Also, Wenger looks set to miss out on Atletico Madrid defender Jose Gimenez  21, with the Spanish club insisting he is not for sale unless his £56million buyout clause is met.
Arsenal offered a much better package than the one he gets at his club and contacted made his agent last week. But the Atletico is refusing to negotiate.
Also, West Brom defender Jonny Evans and Valencia’s Shkodran Mustafi presently still remain Gunners targets.

Over the past three months, every half-decent attacking player in Europe has been linked with a move to north London. But as with every transfer rumour involving Arsenal, it's worth taking this one with a pinch of salt considering how this season transfer has been with them.
