Netflix’s most popular streaming plan is up from £7.49 to £7.99. The company started alerting subscribers that costs are going up in emails sent out to them recently.

According to the company’s spokesperson as the streaming service continues its push into original content that would attract huge audience and span their imagination it plans to adjust its prices to meet its financial obligations.
The email sent out today, stated that the price rise will allow Netflix to add more of what you like to watch. "Awesome entertainment built around you is what we're all about," the mail said.
